The inflow of patients outnumbered the number of beds available in Hospitals in Dharwad district. It was always an uphill battle for local authorities and the hospital management to maintain and manage the chaos.
The Local Urban Body of Dharwad District, Karnataka approached NANTECH Solutions to develop a customized software solution. Nantech Solutions took about 25 days to design, develop and deploy the first version of the software.

Solution:
The real-time data accessibility to the authorities became a game-changer. The software aided the authorities in shuffling resources between various centers based on requirement.
Detailed information of the patient was fed into the system.
One unique feature of our software solution was how we tracked quarantine violations. Certain patients were advised home quarantine and the discharged patients also had to be quarantined for a fixed period.
Daily monitoring reports of the quarantined patients was generated and sent to the State Government. The Government Authorities would coordinate with telecom companies to triangulate the GPS coordinates. The location information would be passed from the authorities to us. The data can be used to report multiple quarantine violations. Repeat offenders were dealt by the local authorities.
Features such as the heat-map enabled the authorities to understand the clustering of cases and helped them plan any preventive or corrective measures for that specific area.
